ENG 135 - The Short Story

Type of Course: Lecture
This course involves intensive reading of stories that exemplify a variety of fictional methods and affords the student some knowledge of the history of this literary type. Attention will be paid to the international scope of the short story, particularly in the 20th century. For undergraduate English majors, this course satisfies the Genre (B-2) requirement.
