MGMT 203 - Management Accounting

Emphasizes accounting from the management perspective. Teaches students an understanding of internal reporting to managers for use in planning, controlling, and decision making. Topics include cost concepts, cost behavior, job-order costing, process costing, activity based costing, cost-volume-profit analysis, variable costing, budgeting, variance analysis and relevant costing. The course structure includes readings, lecture, discussions, and problem solving.

Prerequisites: MGMT 100, MGMT 101; not open to first-year students.
