CHEM 030 - Kitchen Chemistry

Type of Course: Lecture, Laboratory
Basic chemical principles can be applied to cooking.  Considered to be the original, most widespread form of chemical research, cooking illustrates chemical and biological changes that occur in food.  This course will explore properties in regards to food preparation, consumption, and nutrition with hands-on experiments and interactive learning.  Fulfills the Science Perspective.

Prerequisites: Must register for lab.
