IDCE 30307 - Academic Writing

Type of Course: Lecture
Academic writing is grounded in research but does not have to be riddled with jargon and impenetrable prose. Good academic writing conveys what you learn through your research clearly and persuasively. It requires practice and patience. This module aims to enable students to hone their ability to effectively convey what they learn through their research.  Students will workshop self-chosen academic assignments such as research reviews, proposals, papers, or reports.  This module is graded as Pass/Fail.
