Management Overview
Undergraduate Program Clark’s tradition of challenging convention and changing the world is evident in our undergraduate management programs, and nurtures innovative and socially responsible entrepreneurs and industry leaders. Studying management at Clark exposes you to all functional areas of business, while teaching you the critical thinking and communication skills that are essential in a liberal arts environment and vital to the success of today’s managers. The undergraduate management and graduate business programs are accredited by the AACSB-International -The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Major Requirements
The required curriculum for management majors consists of fifteen course units. Students are encouraged to complete the 100 level courses by the end of their sophomore year. Students must have a minimum 2.0 overall grade-point average to declare management as a major. Students must take courses in the management major for letter grades. A minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade-point average in the major courses is required for graduation. Management Electives
The Management major also requires two units of elective courses at the 200 level or higher. Students cannot take MGMT 298 or MGMT 299 for an elective. Marketing Track
Management majors interested in learning more about the field of marketing can pursue the marketing track within the major (Management majors cannot complete the marketing minor). The track requires additional coursework. Students completing the track must complete 17 units of coursework in total: 13 units of core coursework, 3 units of marketing electives, and 1 unit of elective coursework from an approved list of electives outside of the Management program that have relevance to marketing. Data Analytics Track
Management majors interested in learning more about the field of data analytics can pursue the data anaytics track within the major (students complete the track, not the separate concentration). The track requires additional coursework. Students completing the track must complete 17 units of coursework: 13 units of core courses, and 4 units of data analytics electives. Program Faculty
