Marketing Overview
Clark’s tradition of challenging convention and changing the world is evident in our undergraduate programs, and nurtures innovative and socially responsible entrepreneurs and industry leaders. Our undergraduate and graduate business programs are accredited by the AACSB-International -The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
The Marketing major and minor introduces students to the principles and practices of marketing and communications, while also providing a more in-depth understanding of branding, product management, buyer behavior and market research in advanced elective coursework. The marketing coursework integrates textbook material, current articles, case studies and applied projects.
Major Requirements
The Marketing major requires 12 courses, and has ECON010 as a program prerequisite or corequisite. Students are encouraged to take ECON010 in their first year if they plan on pursuing the Marketing major. All courses must be completed for a letter grade in the Marketing major.
Students cannot pursue a dual major in Marketing and Management. Students interested in combining those two areas of study may complete the Management major with the Marketing track, or the Marketing major with a Management minor.
