Overview

Covering everything from traditional advertising and PR to digital design and SEO, marketing is a broad field that is constantly evolving in the digital age.  Marketers must understand both the business and marketing/creative side of the workplace.  At Clark University, our M.S. in Marketing program is perfect for the aspiring marketing leader. Learn to understand your audience, analyze trends, and position your business to be competitive and successful.

The program gives students the skills to be both creative and practical by applying innovative marketing strategies in practical ways; providing students the language to understand and speak to both sides while allowing their creative ideas to expand and soar.  A fit with nearly any undergraduate degree, the MSMK will provide you with a foundation in business and an in-depth understanding of marketing strategies and research.

Graduate Program

The M.S. in Marketing is a 10 unit degree program.

The program requires 6 core courses and 4 units of electives.

Completion of an internship related to the field of study is also required for the MSMK degree. The internship is a program requirement and not part of the 10 units of coursework that a student must complete.

Graduate Program Requirements

Completion of a graduate internship or experiential learning requirement is required for all full-time students in this program.  This is an additional requirement and is not for course credit.  There are several options available for students to complete this requirement.  It may also be possible to waive this requirement if students have 3+ years of professional business work experience related to their field of study; for details contact a member of the Stevenish Career Management Center for more information.

The following 6 units of core courses are required for the MS in Marketing program:
