Overview
The Master of Arts in Education is designed for educators interested in deepening their practice and understanding of student learning. The program curriculum emphasizes the importance of reflection and inquiry as part of a teacher’s practice and culminates in a project comparable to a master’s thesis. The curriculum is otherwise tailored to the background and interests of each educator. The program’s core purpose sits squarely in the mission of the Education Department to support the development and understanding of transformative educational practices and aligns with the emphasis at Clark on socially engaged learning and on connecting learning to practice. Graduate Program Requirements
