MIS 5602 - Decision Support Systems

Optimization modeling techniques can potentially be used to address a wide range of management problems. Application of these techniques in today’s business environment requires robust, microcomputer-based software to solve the models. In this course, students learn various optimization modeling techniques; software for solving models; and cases of how companies have developed and used optimization-based decision support systems to address real-world problems.

Prerequisites: OM 4601 .
