CSCI 124 - Honors Introduction to Computing

This accelerated course provides a comprehensive introduction to computing and its diverse applications, equipping students with the fundamental principles and problem-solving techniques necessary to tackle real-world challenges. Student will learn programming in Python, grasping a systematic approach to problem formulation, algorithm design, code development and testing. This course includes a project component where students will demonstrate their newly acquired skills through the design and implementation of a project of their choice. Success in the course requires strong analytical skills and a dedicated work ethic.  Prior programming experience is not necessary but may be helpful.
