ENT 262 - Global International ELab This course is designed for students with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for social innovation, social change, and engagement with other cultures and people. Students will work in consulting teams, and virtually engage with under-resourced communities either within or outside the United States. Students will engage with and offer consultation supports and recommendations to a community business, an NGO, or social enterprise and assist in the design of a prospectively sustainable business model intended to address local societal concerns. Students will apply, compare, contrast, and examine global social concerns (e.g., The Sustainable Development Goals) and how entrepreneurial ecosystems (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Project Management, IT, Data Analytics, Social Marketing, etc.) can serve as powerful tools toward furthering social innovation and sustainable business practices. This course conflates classroom instruction with experiential field learning.
