ENG 020 - Introduction to Literary Analysis This seminar-sized course introduces students to three or more types of literary form (fiction, poetry, and one other genre). Students will learn the most important tools of literary analysis, including the uses of metaphoric language, sound effects, rhetorical devices and will practice writing effective essays that analyze elements of literary form. Meet the Verbal Expression requirement.
