ENG 251 - Chaucer

Guides the student through The Book of the Duchess, The House of Fame, The Parlement of Fowls, some Canterbury Tales and/or Troilus and Criseyde. All texts are taught in Middle English. No prior knowledge of Middle English required. For undergraduate English majors, this course satisfies the Period (C-1)requirement.
