PSCI 280 - International Security


This course examines the causes, conduct, and consequences of international conflict. The course examines major theories on the causes of wars and internal conflict, explores the potential for diplomacy and international organizations, and surveys several different types of armed conflicts, such as conventional wars, guerilla wars, nuclear crises, and terrorism. The class then studies several representative contemporary conflicts.
