MSPM 3851 - Project Communication and Stakeholder Management

The focus of this course is to develop project managers to be effective communicators and critical listeners by applying project-specific communication strategies and stakeholder engagement practices. Students will explore models of communication and apply them to the responsibilities of project managers. Students will also investigate various techniques of effective communication and learn presentation skills. Through applied learning assignments, students will examine best practices for communicating and influencing key stakeholders at all levels and across all phases of a project.

Prerequisites:  

MSPM 3840 - Project Management Fundamentals  

MSPM 3460 - Agile Project Delivery: Principles and Practices  

MSPM 3850 - Project Leadership and Organization
