Covering everything from traditional advertising and PR to digital design and SEO, marketing is a broad field that is constantly evolving in the digital age. Marketers must understand both the business and marketing/creative side of the workplace. At Clark University, our M.S. in Marketing program is perfect for the aspiring marketing leader. The program gives students the skills to be both creative and practical by applying innovative marketing strategies in practical ways; providing students the language to understand and speak to both sides while allowing their creative ideas to expand and soar. A fit with nearly any undergraduate degree, the MSMK will provide you with a foundation in business and an in-depth understanding of marketing strategies and research.
Departmental Eligibility Requirements
The accelerated Bachelor of Arts/Master of Science in Marketing program is open to students in all majors.
Two prerequisite courses are required. Students must complete:
Marketing - MKT 230
Statistics - QBUS 110 OR ECON 160 OR PSYC 105
Prerequisites must be completed with a grade of C or higher by the end of the second semester of their junior year.
A minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.4 is required for eligibility to this program.
For ALL School of Business Accelerated Degree Applicants
As part of the application process, all applicants to the accelerated degree program must meet with both the Assistant Dean, Laura Burgess, and the Associate Director of the Stevenish Career Management Center, Kelly Kochis, before the accelerated degree adviser form will be signed and approved by the School of Business. These meetings need to take place before the accelerated degree application deadline.
Program of Study
The MSMK requires 10 units of graduate coursework. Students are required to take 2 graduate course units in their senior year: MKT 4400 and STAT 4300 .

The BA/MSMK program requires a graduate level internship for all accelerated degree students. This internship must be completed as part of the MSMK program and by the time a student completes the degree requirements. Internships completed at the undergraduate level do not meet this requirement. No academic credit is awarded for the internship.
Fees
This program is eligible for a 100% tuition remission in a student’s graduate year if the student meets all accelerated degree requirements. All accelerated degree students will be responsible for fees during their graduate year of study.
